Boyfriend pawns girlfriend’s things for drug money

St. Louis MO (KTVI) – A north county man was arrested by police after allegedly stealing from his girlfriend to support a drug habit.

St. Louis County Police arrested 44-year-old Richard Coulson and prosecutors charged him with felony stealing.  Charging documents indicate Coulson stole two televisions and a video gaming system belonging to his girlfriend.  He admitted to police he pawned one TV and XBox in order to get drug money.  He also told them he traded the other television outright to a drug dealer for drugs.

He’s held on $7500.00 bond.
