That’s okay – she was driving on the wrong side of the road, she was apparently drunk, and she wrecked into somebody – but she won’t get any more punishment or consequences than a guy who was driving perfectly safely stopped at a DWI checkpoint after two beers will get.

Thanks, MADD, for making the roads MORE dangerous, taking away one of our Constitutional freedoms, and distracting law enforcement away from the REAL problem drivers like this one. Great job, ultra-right-wing moralist MADD extremists!

P.S. to MADD: If just drinking is really your hangup, and you want prohibition again, please be honest and say so. Because I know that’s REALLY what you’re all about. And watch your support evaporate when you admit it.

I drink and drive all the time. The more you do it the better you get.

She wasn’t drunk. The news has it all wrong. She is on prescribed pain medications and her dosage was off by mistake. This is my mom and she doesn’t even drink.

Your mother, really, I doubt that, just looking for 15 mins of fame!! On the Internet, everyone is an expert, and has the “real” story!!

I drink n drive too. Only a few drinks so I stay below the LEGAL limit. Ive been stopped at chexkpoints and pulled over. But if there is a legal limit then drinking and driving is legal

The woman that was arrested doesn’t even drink. She works 40-60+ hours a week. Anyone that gets into an accident like that would have been just as shaken up to the point that they could have failed the field sobriety test. As usual only half the story is put up, and they should have just given her a breathalyzer or blood test before they report these stories. This “suspect” has family and friends that do know the real story. Hopefully, you or someone you know or care about doesn’t have something like this partially played out for the public’s opinion.

She had to be impaired to hit a stopped vehicle, or just a horrible driver.Save your sympathy for the injured victims in the other vehicle that WERE sober and capable of driving.

40 to 60 hours a week? When someone says that it means that this person screws off 30 to 50 hours a week while at work. Please pray for the victim of the other car that is in the hospital.
