(KTVI)- Eat your fill all while helping those who don’t have enough to eat. On June 5, the National Hunger Awareness Day Chef Food Pantry Challenge will pit three top area chefs against each other for the title of Feed My People 2014 Chef of the Year.

The cook-off will be held at River City Casino. Admission is $35.00 a person or you can get a table of 10 for $300. Proceeds from the event go to help Feed My People.

The competing chefs are Joe Suegrim from Orlando's Banquets & Catering, John Johnson from River City Casino & Hotel, and Andy White from the Schlafly Tap Room

Attendees will sample each chef’s entries in three categories: Appetizer, Entrée & Dessert, prepared using only ingredients found in Feed My People food pantries.

The event is sponsored by Kenrick’s Meats & Catering.
