WENTZVILLE, MO (KTVI) – A Wentzville child is happy Monday night after Wentzville firefighters buy him a new bike.

Earlier Monday afternoon, Wentzville firefighters were called to a scene where a child’s leg was trapped in a bike. The only way firefighters could free the boy, was cut the bike’s frame.

The little boy was very upset over losing his bike, but firefighters Captain Preis, firefighter Marquart, and firefighter Broeder saved the day by going to nearby store and bought the child a new bike.

Needless to say, the child and his mother were extremely happy when the firemen showed up with a new bike.
