EAST ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Dozens of East St. Louis students were released early Tuesday because someone stole parts of their school’s air conditioning units.

According to the district, air conditioning units at Vivian Adams, Officer Elementary, Mason-Clark Elementary, and Lincoln Elementary were all damaged.

The air conditioning thefts happened sometime last week.
