ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Three people are hospitalized after their throats were slashed in an attack Tuesday morning in south St. Louis.

One of the victims was also shot.  Authorities say all three victims, two men and a woman, were taken to the hospital and are said to be in serious but stable condition.

It all started around 1:30 a.m. in an apartment on Michigan at Osceola. The first victim that officers found was a man who had been stabbed and shot.  The apparently tried to get away and was discovered in a nearby alley.

Then authorities found the other two victims.  The victims had bandages around their necks and the second male victim also had a bandage on his head.

Investigators say the three victims were inside an upstairs apartment when one woman and two men came over. The violence then started.  The woman was reportedly armed with a butcher knife and the two men had guns.

No one is in custody, but police say one of the victims knows the woman who was allegedly involved in the attack.

There is no word on a motive for the violence.

All the victims were African Americans, and yet all the written words on the story never mention their race, or the victims statements of who might have done this was not mention,WHY? don’t you think its relative?

Amanda, I am African American and I looked at the video….clearly those two men and woman are the same, African American. Its sad that our brothers and sisters are committing this type of violence or violence period against eachother….whether it be over a few little words or dollars. We have to realize that we come into the world with nothing and we will leave with nothing, but I don’t guess they will ever get the picture!!!

Why do you think it is so important for them to state they were African American? Clearly we can see the race of the victims. Its really not relative to state the race of the victims at all. Now if they did state the race of them then there would be people putting comments up about why do they have to always mention that they are African Americans. Violence happens to every race, gender, wither you live in poverty or high class. So for you to be so worried about they fact they didnt say they were African Americans is silly. Only facts that matter here is that 3 people were attacked in their own home by people they knew and that those people need to be found and removed off the streets before they do something else to these 3 people when they get out of the hospital or hurt another person.

Does anyone even proof read these articles? This should be embarrassing to a legit news agency…

Nope – not NEARLY as inept and incompetent writing on those two websites as this – but then you MUST defend this, because it’s the only site dedicated to right-wing dimwits. I guess the logic is ya gotta be pretty moronic to be a right-winger, so why worry about linguistics or proper writing?

I guess ya need the Fox to git yer right-wing hick fix! LOL

Actually Tiffany, it’s sad that black people (pick another name, you’re not African, you’re American. That’s just further trying to separate black and white) always say that “Its sad that our brothers and sisters are committing this type of violence or violence period against eachother”, ok, so it’s OK when they do it against any other race? At least, that’s not sad? Come on, it’s sad anyone has to use violence against anyone.
