Cardinals win fans save on cheap tickets for just $4 bucks

The secret is out . Wednesday the Cardinals cut ticket prices for some games next month. Offering a large discount.  Fans say it gives them an opportunity to stretch their dollar, for an experience at the ball park.

The baseball Cardinals are no strangers when it comes to winning championships. The team is known for having some of the greatest fans in the world. But this time, the Cardinals  are in the dugout cheering for fans. The Cardinals are  providing  affordable family entertainment. "We really wanted to make sure that there was a message about affordability with Cardinals tickets. We always try and have fun with our promotions, so we did a Cards Win You Save Promotions, " said Rob Fasoldt,  Cardinals Ticket Sales Department.

The team cut three bucks from tickets for every win over the Cubs and the Braves, plus that rain out game last week . That means $15 dollars off , so the tickets are just four  bucks .

Word spread fast about the deal. Fans traveled near and far to get their hands on the red hot tickets. In fact , Linda Lloyd traveled all the way from Springfield Illinois to save cash. "We got the four dollar tickets . It's great when the Cardinals  come home and they win and they offer that to us, " said Lloyd.

"I think it's a wonderful opportunity for the Cardinals to sell tickets for four dollars. Other people who would not be able to come to the game are now likely to come at price for four dollars, " said Denise Gibbs.

The tickets went on sale Wednesday  morning at 10 a.m. It only took one hour to sell out. The tickets sold were for the terrace level seats  only for the Royals June  2nd and 3rd  and Mets  June 16th, 17th and 18th games.

Over 10,000 tickets were sold   Wednesday morning  for the  Cards Win You Save offer.  The  $4 tickets are now sold out.

If you missed out on the $4 tickets, don't worry! Fans can still purchase tickets at a great discount for these games - $7 1st Base Terrace and $10 Infield Terrace are now available for a limited time.
