ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)– There’s a new bid to tap into St. Louis’ soccer appetite.

Wednesday the St. Louis Ambush announced the team is now part of the newly formed Major Arena Soccer League, the result of a merger of two existing leagues, which will also include the Missouri Comets in Kansas City.

The team will continue to play at the St. Charles Family Arena when the league launches this fall.

Wednesday’s announcement also included word that Ballpark Village will host team USA viewing parties next month during the World Cup.
