President Obama remembers the fallen at Arlington National Cemetery

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) - Memorial Day ceremonies, parades and tributes are happening in cities across the country. President Obama participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and delivered a speech at Arlington National Cemetery.

During his remarks the president thanked the fallen for their service.
