BUCKHORN, MO (AP) – Authorities have identified a husband and wife found dead at the site of a Memorial Day weekend motorcycle rally in south-central Missouri.

KYTV reports the Missouri State Highway Patrol on Wednesday identified the couple as 58-year-old Mary J. Wevers and 66-year-old Frank J. Wevers III, of Kimberling City.

But officials have not released any details about how the couple died. The Pulaski County sheriff’s office said autopsies were planned.

Officers found the bodies Tuesday inside a motorcycle-camper utility trailer on the property of the Shrine Club in Buckhorn. The couple had participated in the Mid-American Freedom Rally, which drew thousands of riders.

Authorities had received a request to check on the couple from someone who had expected to hear from them.
