Police officer struck during North City pursuit

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-A police officer suffered minor injuries after being struck by a police car during a pursuit in north St. Louis Saturday night. The pursuit began around 8:30 p.m. near Riverview and Woodland while police were chasing a suspected carjacker.

The pursuit lasted for 15 minutes before the suspect was captured nearĀ Oriole and Theodore.

The officer was taken to the hospital for treatment for an arm injury.

Police continue to investigate.
