read it again, he had one on, its not the police fault he broke the law, if had ran your families boat over and killed your family because he was drunk a life jacket would be the last thing on your mind right now…..

Read it again. Suspected drunk boating, there was no field sobriety test or breathalizer administered. A man does not drown if he has a life jacket on securely. Once you cuff a person you assume their safety and this guy drowned. Watch and wait for the facts to come out. The preverbial excrement is going to hit the fan and Missouri is going to be paying out millions of dollars. The official police report says that he may have jumped!!! This is to c.y.a. They know that he did not jump.
I know people who were witnesses and that is the farthest thing from the truth. This is truly a travesty and could have been completely avoided had the officer acted responsibly.

This is complete negligence on part of authorities. There were eyewitnesses and pics taken. Life jacket was not placed securely. Even if he was drinking which has not been determined cause no tests were administered the kid did not deserve to die.
