Threatening calls to Jeff. Co. courthouse lands St. Louis man in jail

(KTVI) – A man who allegedly left threatening phone messages at the Jefferson County courthouse is now behind bars.

According to Sheriff Glenn Boyer, Stephen J. Cleveland, 22, of St. Louis, was arrested and charged with three counts of harassment, 1 count of tampering with a judicial officer, and 1 count of making a terrorist threat.

Boyer says the department was notified on Wednesday after Cleveland left messages on the courthouse’s phone message system.

He is currently being held on $250,000 bond.
