ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - According to a private survey, U.S. companies added 179,000 jobs last month.  For some, this is below expectations.  This survey comes in ahead of the government's May employment report, due in on Friday.   For the Bi-State area, home prices are going up which means more people are becoming employed here in around St. Louis.

Forbes Magazine recently named St. Louis as the happiest city for job seeking graduates.
