Woman strangled to death after argument over drugs

(KTVI) - Homicide investigators are looking into the death of a woman who was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

According to police the victim, Lauren Bach, 24, of the 5400 block of Rosa, was found Wednesday evening in a home in the 6100 block of Alaska.

Police also say Bach had sustained head and neck injuries.  She also had cuts on her hands and bite marks on her neck and back.  She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police believe the victim and her fiance, a 42-year-old man, got into an argument over drugs and he strangled her.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital and treated for cuts to the face. He is now in police custody.

His name has not yet been released pending charges.
