Crossover accident leaves one person dead

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crossover accident that occurred around 6 pm Monday evening in Highway a in Jefferson County.

A spokesperson for the patrol says, the drive of a car crossed the center line of Highway A at Baptist Park striking an oncoming car head-on. That driver died at the scene.

It’s not known if any persons in the second car were injured.

    Well, if no alcohol or drugs were involved, it’s just perfectly okay then! Just an accident caused by incompetence and ineptitude, and there’s nothing that can be done about that in rural Jefferson County.

    Meanwhile, Jefferson County will be setting up some more pointless and unconstitutional DUI checkpoints this weekend, but that’s perfectly okay, too! Only guns are protected by the Constitution today. And apparently stupidity.
