ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A $15,000 dollar donation was made Monday to help save the endangered Grevy's Zebras in Africa. It’s estimated that only 2,000 of the animal are surviving in the wild in Ethiopia and Kenya.

The Zebra Pen donated the money to Grevy's Zebra Trust, the only organization dedicated solely to saving the Zebras.

Zebra Pen is also launching ''Z Month'' and a ''Z Month Facebook’’ ticket giveaway.

Every week in June, a pack of four tickets will be awarded to lucky participants for behind-the-scenes VIP tours at the St. Louis Zoo.
