Kmart thief charged with felony

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KTVI) - A Creve Coeur man has been charged with a felony after stealing over $500 from a North County Kmart.

Oliver Marlon, 21, worked as a cashier at the Kmart on Dunn Road. Police say between August of last year and May of this year, he stole more than $15,000.

Marlon confessed to his employers and to St. Louis County police that he stole the money by making fake refund transactions and removing the corresponding amount of cash from his register.
