(KTVI)- After a wet Monday night, rain is back in the forecast for Tuesday afternoon and evening. While wide-spread severe weather is not expected, there should be more thunderstorms then what the region saw on Monday and some could be strong.  These could produce heavy rain, localized flooding, gusty winds, and some small hail.

These storms have been slow movers, dumping a lot of rain over the same areas. Portions of central St. Charles County have seen an two inches of rain already this afternoon. There is water over roads in O'Fallon and near Fenton.
