ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – Flash flooding in O’Fallon, Mo left some drivers stranded Tuesday afternoon.  The O’Fallon Fire Protection District responded to multiple calls for help.  Four cars stalled as a result of flash flooding.  One person had to be rescued.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Kyle Hussey.  The O’Fallon resident was driving along Turtle Creek Road when rushing creek water filled the street and backed up storm sewers.

“All across the road there was about four inches of water,” said Hussey.

A few miles away, parts of the football field at St. Dominic High School were covered in water.  Dames Park in O’Fallon was also covered in water.

First responders reported some basement flooding that in at least one case caused an electrical problem.   There were no reports of injury
