ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Two people were transported to the hospital from Whole Foods Market in the 1600 block of Brentwood Boulevard.  Private  contractors were moving a 1,000 pound safe when they lost control and it pinned two workers down.

Minor injuries were sustained.

Maybe if you read the actual blurb correctly you’d understand that they weren’t whole foods workers. They were private contractors that most likely belonged to the company they rent the safe from. I’m sure they have their own safety precautions and I doubt whole food’s job is to worry about the private contractor’s job.

Maybe had they spent the money to hire a professional safe and vault company, with the proper experience and equipment, this wouldn’t have happened.
