ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A driver was arrested early Monday morning after driving the wrong way and crashing into another car.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at Broadway and Dock. Police say a vehicle traveling north on Broadway passed slower traffic by using the opposite lane.

The driver then struck an on-coming car.  The impact sent the second car into a third vehicle.  The driver was arrested.  At least one person was hurt.

Some of the streets downtown are poorly marked. This morning I flagged down a driver making a left turn from Olive onto Northbound Broadway, the wrong direction. There’s a single one-way sign at that intersection, that’s 20 feet away attached to a light pole.
