ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-A St. Louis man with a history of repeated drunk driving has struck a deal after he ran over and killed a 4 year old boy. Ricky R. Weeden Sr., 56, was charged with second degree murder in the 2012 accident that killed Trayeshon Williams in Pagedale.

Weeden pleaded Friday to involuntary manslaughter and other charges. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Our news partners at the St. Louis Post Dispatch said Weeden has some 150 arrests for drunk driving and that prosecutors made the deal after having problems with witnesses.

The Post Dispatch did not say he has been arrested 150 times for drunk driving. They said he was arrested 150 times for a variety of traffic violations.

All self-indulgent drunks, like Weeden, who CHOOSE to drive drunk have one thing in common. They just DON’T CARE who they harm or slaughter. This record should NEVER be expunged-nor should he get a driver’s license again. This innocent victim didn’t get a CHOICE. Sincerest condolences to the child’s family….

Drunk drivers don’t let a little thing like having no license get in the way of their self indulgence. They drive drunk whenever they please.
