Woman accused of fake cancer scam to undergo psych evaluation

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, IL (KTVI)-A FOX 2 follow-up on a Belleville woman accused of faking terminal cancer and pocketing donations. Alissa Jackson, 31, charged with felony theft will undergo a mental evaluation.

The evaluation is part of new bail terms ordered by a judge. Jackson’s bail dropped from $100,000 to $75,000. She must also submit to electronic monitoring.
