Man shot in South St. Louis, armed female suspect on the loose

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-  St. Louis city police received a call for shots being  fired in the area of Michigan Avenue and Wyoming Street around 445a.m. Thursday. The call was related to an apparent domestic dispute between a male and female.  Shortly after, police received a shooting call from the male victim saying he had been shot.  Police arrived on the scene and found the male victim  at the lying on the sidewalk. He had been shot in the buttocks. The female was armed with a hand gun and ran from the scene.  Police and K9 officers are searching for the woman.

The man is expected to survive.
