Police vs. Firefighter rib eating contest for charity

ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI)- Texas Roadhouse, in St. Charles, will host their 4th annual rib-eating contest to benefit the Special Olympics and Responder Rescue. These are the chosen charities of the Police Department and the Fire Department. Chef Mandy Morville, from Texas Roadhouse, talks more about the charity event.

On Monday, June 23, for every table that mentions Special Olympics, 10% of the night`s sales will go to the charity.

Then on Tuesday, June 24, 10% of sales for all tables that mention Responder Rescue will go to the organization.

Firefighters and police officers will help wait tables and collect donations for their respective charities.
