What does it feel like to fall 14,000 feet when your parachute doesn’t open?  One Australian skydiver captured his experience when his lines tangled during a jump near Sydney. He manages to save himself in the final moments.  He cut the lines to access an emergency parachute with only a few seconds to spare.

It looks like he wasted a little too much time trying to fix his main canopy and should have cut it away and pulled the reserve sooner. Too bad we can’t see an altimeter in the video. Good save, but close call.
