ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - New baseball hats are helping to avoid head injuries.  It's a scary sight, and happening more and more frequently.  Last year Rays pitcher Alex Cobb was hit in the head after a line drive came right back at him.  Had he been wearing a new safety hat it's possible that his injuries wouldn't have been so severe.

Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Richard Lehman joins us with how this funny looking hat can help so much.
