IL residents have new way to apply for conceal-carry

(KTVI) – There’s a new way to apply for a concealed-carry license.  You can now do it over the phone.  The Belleville News-Democrat reports Illinois State Police are rolling out the new application process because many complain the online application is cumbersome.

The issue, you need to have certain computer program requirements to fill it out.

    The problem is that the government is involved at all. The right of self-defense is God given, not government permitted.
    Law abiding people should be able to carry if they want to without any government approval. The bad guys do!
    Illinois, what a bad joke Chicago has pulled on y’all. How’s that massive State debt going for ya? Number 2 now?
