American Trash Fashion Show this weekend

(KTVI) - The American Trash Fashion show is coming up this Saturday, July 12  at 9 p.m.

Dwight Carter, Cindy Henry and AJ Thovenot are all apart of the event.  They talked about what people can expect at the show.

•American Trash is a fashion design show of collections created only by using non-traditional materials

•Two of St. Louis` own designers, Cindy Henry of Rebel Tart and A. J. Thouvenot of Andy J Designs, came up with the concept along with Brainchild Events ,and are challenging each other to create a collection using only trash-like items.

•Attendees can expect to see everything from toilet paper tubes to beer cans to car parts to just about anything these designers can find in bulk, into wearable, eco-friendly designs

•Doors open at 8pm and the Runway comes to life at  9pm. Advanced tickets are already on sale and available at Advanced ticket costs for General Admission is $10 and VIP is $15 (includes cocktails and guaranteed seating for show). Ticket prices at the door will increase to $15 for General Admission and $20 for VIP.
