Want to know what it is like to ride the world’s tallest water slide?  This video posted by Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts will give you a good idea of how the ride will go.

The “Verrückt” Kansas City slide’s initial drop is a 17-story plunge.  The ride then takes a five story uphill climb.  This also makes it the tallest uphill water coaster section in the world. The starting point is taller than Niagara Falls.  Riders can reach speeds of 65 mph.

The ride opens on July 10, 2014, after multiple delays.
