ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) - It was pretty hot outside Saturday and people were trying to beat the heat today in St. Charles for the Riverfront Art Walk.

It`s was a hot and steamy Saturday at the 9th annual Riverfront Art Walk in St. Charles and Leslie Witt-Mayer with Herman’s farm was selling what she could.

Vendors lined up their booths on north Main Street. Farmers sold their goods out in the sweltering heat, while artist spent time indoors. Art fair organizers say having an indoor venue is ideal.

But the battle with Mother Nature to stay cool stays the same.

The art fair will be open until 5:00 pm on Sunday.
