Pierzynski Shines in Debut, Cards Beat Cubs 6-3

New Cardinals catcher A.J. Pierzynski had a successful debut in the Cardinals 6-3 win over the Cubs on Saturday in Chicago. Pierzynski arrived at Wrigley Field Saturday morning and was in the lineup, catching Cards starting pitcher Shelby Miller. Pierzynski also contributed three hits and one RBI to the Cardinals offense. Matt Adams was also a hitting hero, with a double, triple and four runs driven in. The Cardinals even the series with the Cubs with the victory and go for the series win on Sunday afternoon with Adam Wainwright on the mound.

    I hope this works out well….signing AJ leads me to think Yadi is DONE for the year. This guy is a jerk but maybe his attitude will spark this team….they have been zombies…beware the AJ cancer in the locker room though…
