BERKLEY, MO (KTVI) - One person was killed during a shooting and crash in Berkeley, according to a family member FOX 2's Anthony Kiekow spoke with outside of the Berkeley police station.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning near the intersection of Washington and Short. The crime scene was covered with shell casings. It is unclear where the shots came from, but we do know that they caused a minivan and a car to slam into each other.

The people inside the two vehicles were all rushed to Depaul Medical Center. We do not know the conditions of the rest of the people involved.

This is still an ongoing investigation.

The article or news media didn’t say anything about this incident happening on the North side. I thought this happened in Berkeley?

This article states absolutely nothing about the ethnicity of the persons involved. Also, the ‘Black Community’ does not condone nor is it filled with shooting and violence. I am going to assume you have never truly spent time in the black community that you are attempting to demean. Please keep your comments to yourself.
