Misconduct investigation leads to officer suspension and 2 attorney’s quitting

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Allegations of misconduct lead to the suspension of a St. Louis police officer and two prosecutors leaving their job.

Investigators are being tight-lipped about the case citing the ongoing inquiries.

Our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch report Detective Thomas Carroll, a 25-year veteran is suspended without pay and Assistant Circuit Attorney’s Bliss Worrell and Katherine Dierdorf have left their jobs.

Worrell is the daughter-in-law of former Cardinals pitcher Todd Worrell.

Dierdorf is the daughter of former Cardinals football player and broadcaster Dan Dierdorf.
