California fruit recall expanding

(KTVI) – The fruit recall involving California nectarines, peaches, plums and pluots has been expanded. The fruit affected in the recall may have been contaminated with listeria.

The initial recall covered specific lots of fruit packed from June 1st through July 12th.

Wawona packing company expanded the recall “as a precautionary step” to fruit packaged through July 17th.

The recall affects grocers Diebergs, Trader Joe’s, Sam’s, Walmart, and Costco.
