CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI) - Metro East firefighters had their hands full when a vacant house in Cahokia caught fire Wednesday morning.  Around 1 a.m., a home on Doris Avenue at Rome Street was destroyed.

Extra crews were needed to keep the fire from spreading to nearby homes.

No one was injured.
