FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – As St. Louis County Police continue their investigation into police involved shooting that killed 18-year-old Michael Brown, there are concerns for citizens protesting the shooting outside the Ferguson police and fire department.

Officers from the St. Louis County, Ferguson, Hazelwood, Bellefontaine Neighbors and Normandy are keeping a peaceful watch over the protesters as they continue a sit in on south Florissant Road.

At times protesters have also block the road at Canfield Green apartment complex where the shooting occurred and for time blocked fire truck out on an emergency call for a heart attack.

But for the most part protests have been peaceful, with police respecting protesters right to assemble.

according to the police scanner the protester were dumping beer and soda on their police cars and they were on the fire trucks.

Wow, ridiculous. Makes no sense to block a fire truck trying to help someone having a medical emergency. But I’m not surprised.
