(KTVI) – Steve Broas’ favorite football player is New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning.  Broas is 50 and has ALS.   So he took the ice bucket challenge and then nominated the two-time Super Bowl change to do the same!

Broas, who uses a computer to communicate, thanked the thousands of people who have donated to the ALS Association  since the Ice Bucket Challenge launched last month.

Manning quickly moved to participate in the social media phenomenon, and he took the challenge along with New York Giants Coach Tom Coughlin, and GM Jerry Reese.
