(KTVI)- A key witness to the police shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown is finally talking to investigators. The man met with the FBI.

Ferguson police Chief Tom Jackson said that he's being kept out of the loop by county police who are conducting the independent investigation.

According to Jackson, police can't release the number of times that Brown was shot without hearing from every witness. They don't want anyone's memory being influenced.
