ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – There is also a development in the legal fight over Normandy school district transfers.

According to our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a St. Louis county judge has ruled in favor of four Normandy parents who sued over a move to reclassify the district’s accreditation on July 1st and the decision by suburban school districts to reject Normandy transfers.

Those students will be allowed to attend Pattonville, Ritenour and Francis Howell.  Normandy’s school year starts on Monday.

State education officials say allowing school transfers to exist as they did last year, will run the Normandy schools collaborative  out of money before the end of the school year.
