Peaceful march held for the Brown family

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Early Saturday morning saw the outbreak of violence return to Ferguson around 1 am after a day of peace and calm. Looters ransacked several businesses along West Florissant leaving store owners in dismay and disbelief.

Business owners and resident awoke to find their neighborhoods a mess.

Protesters held a march from the QuikTrip on West Florissant to the site were 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed one week ago.

Brown’s family did not attend the march or gathering at the Canfield Green apartment complex. But the family’s attorney Benjamin Crump did speak to FOX2 reporter about the Brown families desire for peace and calm.
