Rams Fall 14-13 at Miami in Preseason Finale

The Rams finished up their 2014 preseason schedule by dropping a 14-13 decision to the Dolphins in Miami on Thursday night. The team finished the preseason schedule with a 1-3 record.

The Rams built a 13-0 lead on a Austin Davis TD pass to Austin Pettis and two Greg Zuerlein field goals. But the Dolphins rallied for 14 fourth quarter points to get the victory.

New starting quarterback Shaun Hill did not play in the game, while on defense, Michael Sam led the way with a team high six tackles.

Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne who is a member of the Rams preseason broadcast team talked it over with E.J. Gaines after the game. Gaines grabbed his first NFL interception in the contest.

Martin also talked it over with Davis, who started the game at QB for the Rams and delivered a ten point first half.

The Rams begin the regular season on September 7th when they host the Minnesota Vikings at the Edward Jones Dome. Kickoff is at 12:00 PM on Fox 2, your Home of the Rams.
