MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO (KTVI)-- Fox 2 has video of what is believed to be the actual lightning strike that hit a cyclist in the head in Maryland Heights Thursday night.

A Pattonville firefighter was recording video on his cell phone as the storm moved through. Suddenly you see a bolt touchdown.

It was in the same location and time where 51-year-old Joseph Adams of Ballwin was hit while riding his bicycle home from work.

The lightning struck about 5:20 on the Maryland Heights Expressway near the casino.

Firefighters were able to revive Adams but he is in extremely critical condition.
