(KTVI)- One of Chicago’s star little league players has a new home to call his own, thanks to a generous donor. Jaheim Benton,12, helped take the Jackie Robinson West team all the way to a second-place finish at the 2014 Little League Baseball World Series.

But Benton and his family were homeless.

His family was forced to split up and have been staying with family and friends since June. The owner of a local funeral home heard about their situation and has offered to pay the family’s rent for an entire year.
