ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Creve Coeur city planners could take a new step Tuesday toward clearing up the status of drive thru restaurants.

There's only one drive thru in Creve Coeur right now.  Residents have fought attempts to lower the three-acre requirement for a drive thru, citing traffic and noise concerns.

Creve Coeur's planning and zoning commission members meet Tuesday to  consider lowering the acreage required to two acres. They could also consider eliminating freestanding drive thrus in favor of multi-tenant developments.
