ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  "Library Of The Year" is the newest award for the St. Louis County Library. The award comes from the Missouri Library Association.

Last year more than 6 million people visited at least one of the library's 20 branches.  Circulation for the year was 15-million items. In recent years the library has added more community outreach programs, including summer lunches at certain locations and delivering books by van to readers in north county.

The award is given out annually.
