Victim identified in Interstate 70 shooting

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Six people were killed in a 24 hour period last week.  On of the victims, Felita Davis, 42, has been identified as one of those killed the shootings.

Police found her in her car at the median on eastbound I-70 near the East Grand exit.  She was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the buttocks and chest.  Emergency crews took her to the hospital where she was declared deceased.

Investigators say a vehicle pulled next to her car on the highway.  A passenger in the car then shot into her vehicle.  Her car came to rest in the center median of I-70.

Davis’ family has been notified of her death.
