Police: St. Louis student had 9mm gun at school

ST. LOUIS (AP) – St. Louis police are investigating after a student took a loaded 9mm handgun to a high school.

Police were called about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday to Beaumont High School after the 16-year-old boy was found with the gun. A spokeswoman for the St. Louis School District says security guards noticed suspicious activity outside the school and found the gun on the student.

No one was hurt and the gun was taken away.
