Thousands “Light the Night” in Forest Park to benefit LLS

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Thousands of St. Louisans came to Forest Park Saturday evening for a fundraising walk benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

The Light the Night walk is an event to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by blood cancers.  Participants walk a one mile route while carrying a lanterns, white for survivors, red for supporters and gold for the memory of loved ones lost.

The goal was  to raise $1 million to fund research for a cure to blood cancers.
